REALTOR®

About Me

I have always believed in community. When my husband and I relocated to Colorado, we immediately set about finding that community – buying a home in Lakewood, settling into work, making new friends, enjoying the Denver metro area and adding cats to our family, Elvis, Mari, Belle, and Emily. 15 years later, we are proud to call Lakewood our home. Yoga at 5:30 a.m., voracious reading, volunteer work and my husband’s cooking help keep me sane and happy.

Business Philosophy

I treat each of my clients as a potential neighbor – even if you do not end up living next door to me! Buying or selling a house is not just a financial transaction; it’s a big change that can be difficult, emotional, or even scary. It also requires market expertise of the JeffCo and Denver metro area, and the passion, quality service, and impeccable integrity I bring to each transaction. I am honored to help you manage through that change and to invest in you as we search for the house and neighborhood you will call “home.”

Professional Experience & Strengths

I wasn’t always a Realtor, supporting my clients, negotiating contracts on their behalf and managing the hundreds of the details required to buy or sell a home. For many years I enjoyed a successful and rewarding career in public relations, corporate communications, marketing, employee communications and change management. Along the way, I also earned a master’s degree in communications and marketing. However, I had a secret obsession – houses. In my spare time, I checked out new listings, visited open houses and researched neighborhoods. I decided to embrace my passion, invest in myself and become a licensed real estate agent. I never looked back. Now my professional experience helps me market and sell my client’s homes while helping them manage the change involved with moving.

Community Involvement

I believe that one of the most important investments a person can make is to invest in their community. (The other one is buying a home!). For the past 15 years, I have invested my time and resources in providing a helping hand and hope with dignity to community members through a Jefferson County nonprofit called The Action Center (theactioncenterco.org). As a volunteer and president of the board, I get my clients involved with collecting school supplies, provide food for families. I am proud of the work we do at The Action Center to bring compassionate support to our community members in need.
I also enjoy connecting my clients to family activities, local businesses, and causes. In addition to The Action Center, the current organizations and initiatives I support include the following:

  • Spay Today – board member for a nonprofit spay, neuter and pet wellness clinic. https://spay.today/
  • Colorado Housing Board – 7th Congressional District representative appointed by the Governor. https://cdola.colorado.gov/state-housing-board
